An old Art Form

I came across this picture while just googling embroidery pictures. I wanted to share it because I just thought it was so beautiful and peaceful looking. The website it was on said it was from the October 1944 issue of Vouge. it was titled “Woman Embroidering in Evening Gown”. I love that embroidery is such an old art form and I love all of the history behind it. I am always starving to absorb and learn more about it’s history. ❤
